Week 19

Last week was the first one where I met my goal.
Fluke or first step of a successful journey? Stay tuned.
As part of the schedule we´re given a rest week. This rest week isn´t time off but less miles. Either way, I should be able to do it.
Day 126: 4 miles (42:41)
That sucks.
I ran four miles a few times last week and they were both under 40-minutes.
The heat just sucked.
I stopped about six times.
Six.
The heat, coupled with having eaten a little too close to my start time, left me with a terrible time.
Day 129: 3 miles (27:37)
Iffy time but not too bad.

Day 129: 4 miles (34:38)
What a difference a week makes.
Last Sunday I ran four miles in 42+ minutes. This same distance was 8+ minutes less.
I have to admit, I´m rather happy with that change in outcome within a week.
Week summary
Although I ended the week on a positive note, I did´t reach my goal.
Even on a rest week.
Work is definitely going to be an issue.
